Missing Cars

Several cars turned up missing when an inventory was performed at the Weslaco Dealership. They are likely stolen.
2008 white Toyota Camry
2006 silver Chrysler 300 C
2010 maroon Dodge Charger
These probably disappeared between February 9 and 11. None of the cars had regular license plates. Instead, they had the paper Payne logo cards on them.

Vehicle Burglary at Harlon Block
January 31, 2012
Harlon Block Sports Complex, 1116 W. 18th Street, was
recently the site of the burglary of a Dodge Nitro car. This occurred on Tuesday, January 31, at about 9:30am.While the owner of the car was
exercising, the crook was getting his own exercise by breaking the left rear
window of her car and stealing her purse. The purse, which was a brand
called "Red," contained a wallet, credit cards, Social Security card, and $6 cash.
The suspect vehicle is a gray Chevrolet Avalanche or Cadillac Escalade.

Theft from Outside Home Depot
January 31, 2012
The metal thieves are currently crawling around the city like leaf cutter ants
pillaging the greenery in your yard. On January 31, an employee of
Home Depot observed two men (cutter ants) removing 3 metal racks
from the rear of the store. These predators think that if it is not locked up,
it is theirs for the taking.
One man is described as a Hispanic male, 6 feet, 1 inch tall,
thin, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. They drove off with the
racks in the back of their white Ford F250 pickup.

THEFT OF COKE MACHINE
January 16, 2012
Bold thieves tried to make off with a Coke machine,
located at Weslaco Village Apartments, 1601 S. Bridge
Avenue, in the early morning hours of Monday, January 16.
They had loaded the machine into their pickup truck,
but as they drove off (too fast), it bounced out, landing
on the pavement, destroying it.
There were three males (no description) in a red single
cab pickup truck.

Aggravated Robbery at G3 Drive Thru
January 01, 2012
A local drive thru convenience store,
G3 Drive Thru,
2113 N. Texas Blvd., was hit by robbers on January 1,
at about 11pm. Two men entered the premises
on foot, brandished at least one handgun,
threatening the two employees.
The robbers fled with a spare cash register (empty) and an employee`s wallet. The two males are Hispanic, one younger than the other, older one stocky, wearing hoodies, pulled closely around their faces. One male had noticeable acne on his face. No vehicie was seen by witnesses.

NAPA Auto Parts Store Victimized
December 15, 2011
The NAPA Auto Parts store, located at 511 N. Texas Blvd., was hit
by thieves the night of December 14. Metal thieves opened up the air
conditioning unit at the south end of the building and stole the copper
coil to it. This occurred between midnight and 7am.

King Buffet Burglarized
December 15, 2011
King Buffet, located in the HEB shopping , center at 1008 N. Texas Blvd., was broken into on the night of Wednesday, December 14, between midnight and 10am. Burglars forced open the front entry doors and stole a small amount
of money from the cash register. Nothing else was disturbed.

Vehicle Burglary at Famsa
November 25, 2011
Vehicle burglars struck at Famsa, 1001 W. Business 83, on
Friday, November 25, between 1:50 and 2:40pm. A burglar
broke a window of a Dodge Nitro and helped himself the contents
of the car. Stolen were a black purse and wallet with
birth certificates and Social Security cards, and a debit card.
In addition, a four-foot artificial Christmas tree,along with gifts,were stolen.
Some of these were clothing, daily planners, and Wii video games.
A witness reported seeing a young Hispanic male with short hair, dark
skin, and wearing a brown shirt. He left in a reddish-orange Ford F150
pickup truck.

Youth Center Broken Into
November 19, 2011
Youth Christian Center, 414 S. Oregon, Weslaco, was burglarized
some time between Wednesday, November 16, and Saturday, November 19. Unknown burglars forced open a "garage-type" door and stole a bunch of
musical instruments and sound equipment.
Taken were a 32" HDTV, several guitars, including a Gibson (red/gold),
purple acoustic, and a burgundy bass guitar. Other items were 7 microphones,
including some cordless models; a Casio keyboard; a 16 channel mixer;
2 tuner pedals. In all, over $4,000 worth of equipment was stolen.

Van & Trailer Stolen
November 04, 2011
In the early morning hours of Friday, November 4, thieves stole the B104 van andan attached trailer. The employee had been doing DJ duty at Buffalo Wings andRings, located at 1600 N. Westgate.
The Clear Channel B104 Ford Econoline van, with stickers all over it, was located, burned, in the Edinburg area on November 6. The white "Cargomate" utility trailer was nowhere to be found. It had license plates 45YRYX on it.
