Most retail stores like to cater to repeat customers. But that is NOT the case of the burglar that returned to the scene of his crime. On April 26, a burglar made his way through a hole in the store wall and stole some cash. And on May 5, he struck again - same store, same hole, same item taken (cash). QUICK SAK BURGLARIZED

An opportunist took advantage of a security weakness at the Quick Sak (formerly Quick Pic) at 4020 N. Texas Blvd and broke into the building. This intruder made his way inside through the ceiling. He pried open a cash register and took an undetermined amount of cash. Once he had his pockets stuffed with the green stuff, it was off to the hole in the ceilng to escape. I bet he`s already spent it all.
Burglary on Agassi Street
April 25, 2010
At a residence in the 4000 block of Agassi, one or more individuals broke a window, entered, and stole the homeowner`s possessions. In the burglary, occurring on April 19, between 6pm and 10pm, burglars took an HP desk computer, a Memorex TV/DVD combo, 2-men`s Fossil watches, a purple backpack, clothing, and X-Box games.

Burglary in Camelot Subdivision

On Monday, April 19, a burglary occurred at a house on Arthur Circle. The burglars broke a window close to an entry door and entered the house. The time frame of the burglary is from 8am till 2:30pm, but the burglary may have actually been in progress when the resident got home.
Among the many items taken were several game systems with their games and accessories, jewelry, 3 bottles of perfume, a Canon A1000 digital camera, and what is believed to be professional audio equipment, such as a sound mixer and microphone.

Burglaries at Snow to Sun

Recently, four mobile homes were burglarized at Snow to Sun RV Park, located at 1700 N International Blvd. These occurred between April 9-11, at nighttime. In all cases, burglars broke or forced open windows to gain entry.
In two cases, a TV set and jewelry were stolen. But specific information is not available since residents are not currently residing in the homes.
The suspects made their way into the park by traversing a deep drainage ditch and coming through a perimeter fence on the park`s west side.

Burglary at South Kreative Kustoms

Burglars forced the burglar bar door and regular door at a local custom auto parts store, located at 1901 W. Business 83. A large amount of merchandise was stolen. A few items are custom vehicle LED lights, custom taillights for various auto makes, and chrome windshield wiper sets.

Backhoe Stolen

A privately-owned Caterpillar back hoe was stolen from the area of Northside Apartments, 1800 N. Texas Blvd., sometime March 19 or 20. It was taken from a construction site in the northwest area of the property. The equipment is a 1999 model 416E-ES, yellow in color. It`s worth over $50,000.

VEHICLE THEFTS FROM PAYNE

Two motor vehicles were stolen from Weslaco Motors, 2401 E. Expressway 83, on March 24. In both cases, car keys were removed from a desk in sales office inside the building.
One vehicle is a 2010 GMC Acadia, belonging to Enterprise Rent-a-Car. On-Star locates the vehicle in Monterrey, Mexico. The other stolen vehicle is a 2008 maroon Chevrolet Silverado pickup with 20-inch rims. It has not been located.

STORAGE UNITS BURGLARIZED

Several storage units at Best Little Warehouse, 1700 E. 6th, were broken into the weekend of March 13. From one unit, over 20 firearms were stolen. These included both rifles and shotguns of various brands.
