House on South Indiana St. Burglarized
October 15, 2008

At a residence in the 800 block of S. Indiana St., burglars removed burglar bars from a window, broke that window, and entered the house. Then they proceeded to steal a large number of items, including a china cabinet, washer & dryer, GE range, refrigerator, and air conditioning units. One other distinctive item taken was a large BBQ pit with "Texas Longhorns" on it and the name "Rios." It must have taken several men or hefty women to haul all these items away. Neighbors apparently saw nothing. "See no evil; hear no evil; speak no evil." The burglary occurred between October 7 and 15.

It sounds as if this neighborhood could use a Neighborhood Watch! If you have encountered any of these items at your favorite flea market, give Crime Stoppers a call. Call 968-8477.
