MURDER - A cold case, this crime occurred on the night of April 26, 1990. Through an anonymous call, a woman, Rosalinda Flores, age 31, of Mission, was found in the backseat of an auto in the Knapp Hospital parkiing lot. She had suffered a mortal gunshot wound to her abdomen. A suspect was not immediately identified. Years later, in 2004, a Weslaco PD investigator, working cold cases, did identify a suspect and secured a warrant for murder.
